OutdoorActive offers professional cross-country ski lessons in HRM.

Kat Kitching is a passionate cross-country skier with over 15 years of teaching experience. She is certified with the Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors (CANSI), and works with groups and individuals of all ages and skill-levels
Lesson Options:
– Classic or skate-ski technique;
– Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced;
– Private, Semi-Private, Group;
– Adults, Children, Families;
– Some ski equipment is available for lending if you don’t have your own.
Lesson Pricing :
– Base rate: $45 for 75 minutes for 1 person
– Trail fees (if applicable) – $15-$20
– Lesson location off of the peninsula – $10
– Additional ppl – $5-$10 per person
– Additional time – $10 per 15 minutes
LOCATION: Brunello Golf Course in Timberlea is usually the preferred lesson location because there is good grooming and snow-making equipment. Lessons in other groomed areas and even local urban parks are possible under some circumstances.
